Shreveport resident Mr. Barrie Tinkler, is a figurative and portrait artist, painting in both oil on canvas
and acrylics as mixed media works. Styles range from realism to surrealism and impressionism. His Unicorns
are legendary, as are his Southwest indians and landscapes, containing elements of spiritual and new age look.
As an experienced copyist he incorporates impressionism, tight realism, and abstractions with an
occasional non-objective into his personal style. Subject matter is dominated by the human figure as portrait,
mythological, psychological, or just an undraped nude figure, which are more sensious, than explicit.
New to his offering is the Giclee' reproduction of selected images.
