Shreveport portrait artist Barrie K. Tinkler, has been painting portraits professionally since about 1962, when Frederick Taubes published an acrylic self portrait in his book "New Techniques in Painting", for it used the then new medium in the tradition of egg tempera. Before entering college he understood the technical aspects of oil painting. On occasion he will lavish labor and time on a favorite work, acheiving fantastic detail and finish. See his still life paintings. Many designers and decorators, attracted by his talents, use him for original works and to create high quality copies from the masters. Always inovating, He has developed a new technical approach combining impressionistic charm and speed with photo realism. Using this new technique an irresistable painting is produced for an affordable cost. For details and pricing Email him,
